I am usually not a fan of bread pudding, I judged it before even tasting it. It always looked like a bland and mushy dish with no texture. I mean, I didn't even try my Weeta's infamous bread pudding. That all changed yesterday when I used
this recipe from the Barefoot Contessa. This dish was just the perfect amount of sweetness and was not mushy at all. A slice topped with some powered sugar and maple syrup was just delightful. Such a perfect way to celebrate a birthday brunch.
