Brighten Up Your Day!

Every now and then it's refreshing to mix things up a bit like by adding some color to your wardrobe. I find a little color can change your mood instantly...well at least for me anyways! One of my favorite brands of jeans has always been J brand. There is just something about their fit, denim washes and durability that has kept me a longtime fan. I'm really enjoying their bright selection of color right now! So if you're feeling like making a BIG statement with your wardrobe then a pair of bright jeans (1. & 3.) is the right way to go. Make the jeans the focal point of your outfit whether it's dressing it up with a pair of heels (2.) or going casual with a pair of boots (5.). Mix and Match! Then complete the outfit with a leather jacket (6.) over a simple top (4.) which can to take you from a day at the office to a night out on the town!

To make a smaller more conservative statement than try brightening up your footwear! A pair of bright flats (1.) or heels (2.) can give you the extra kick in your step every gal needs once in a while and who better to help with that then Steve Madden! He is a great shoe designer who thinks outside the normal footwear by fully using all colors of the spectrum to really show off his designs. Not only are his shoes fun but they are also comfortable which is extremely important! Footwear is great place to start by changing things up a bit and don't be shy to color. It'll take your simple gray sweater (5.), black tank (4.) and black jeans (3.) to another level. Take it from me the queen of the black wardrobe, adding a little bit of color can be a big change but it's so fun when you glance down to see a pair of bright blue flats and can't help but smile! :-)))

Accessories can also be a great way to brighten up an outfit by throwing on a big statement necklace (1.), a bright handbag (2.) or putting on a bright cocktail ring (3.). There are other more subtle ways to incorporate bright so wear what your comfortable with and give it a shot!
